the Corsetière

Lead Corsetière and Owner, Lisa Lorenz has been sewing since the age of seven, she quickly realized that she had no greater passion than for creation.  Entirely self taught growing up in California, she made a decision out of school to dive into her love of design head first.  ​  ​

In 2001 she began a Lingerie and Swimwear Line that she continues today as Limited Runs and One Offs keeping the collections light, fun and unique.  In the years to follow she began to take a serious interest in Corsetry and the various types of construction, styles and shaping, this began a long process of study and research.  In 2005 Waisted Couture Corsetry was born and continues to evolve from Lingerie to Daily Wear Corsetry, Couture Costuming and Custom Bridal Services.

It is her goal to provide quality corsetry, lingerie, wardrobe and accessories with an emphasis on modern and authentic corsetry and couture custom corsetry created for each client individually.
